As an MLSA Member, you get access to a wide range of exclusive benefits, such as technical information and support. To that end, the MLSA has received multiple requests to explain Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and their use in practical settings.

    Understand what's required &
    Access the MLSAs SWMS template

A SWMS is a document that sets out the high risk construction work (HRCW) activities to be carried out at a workplace, the hazards arising from these activities and the measures to be put in place to control the risks.

Any person conducting a business or undertaking HRCW, including self-employed persons, must prepare a SWMS before commencing the work.

We've created a guide and template to assist Members in understanding these requirements and how to complete the relevant paperwork.

Having Members and Sponsors work together is what the MLSA is all about, so we could not be more excited to share this beautiful Lee Gray Landscape Design project with you!  Designed by Lee, maintained by another MLSA Member, and built using Foundation Partner Jeffries outstanding product, this project showcases how the MLSA community builds success.

Lee Gray says, “Our Millswood project has been an absolute delight to watch grow and develop. The Landscape and Garden was expertly installed by James and the team at Little Fig Landscapes and is now cared for by Dale from Prestigious Gardens.

We used Jeffries Veggie and Garden Soil for our garden beds and have been thrilled by the speed of growth and health of our plants. In the lawn areas we used Jeffries Special Soil, the compost competent of the mix has created a great base for our Fescue Lawn and for our Silver Birch trees. We finished the garden beds off with Jeffries Recover Mulch, this has created a great surface crust which keeps soil evaporation low and has the added advantage of keeping the gardens beds contained.”
