Introducing the AM Group of Companies Directors

Nick Watson is one half of a dynamic sibling duo along with brother Alex that have a range of businesses stretching across Adelaide, including American muscle car and truck specialist American Motors, XCMG Adelaide and Foton Adelaide.

There’s no doubt the brothers Watson have a fascination with heavy machinery. “We’ve always loved machinery, which is demonstrated by American Motors that launched almost five years ago. It was a natural progression from big American trucks to selling heavy machinery to support the construction sector.” American Motors also provides servicing, repairs, and parts for American vehicles and finance options, trade-ins, and fleet vehicles.

Watson continued that the brothers also have plenty of sales experience to support their affinity for big machines. “We both worked at car dealerships, and for example, I was in sales with Nissan between 2013-2016.”

Joshua Dannatt, General Manager, also bring a wealth of experience to the AM Group businesses. He has working in customer service roles for his entire career, and it is his love for animals that saw the AM Group implement an animal friendly policy, with animals allowed at all sites.

Born in country Victoria, Josh moved to big smoke of Adelaide in his early 20's. He is a passionate Sydney Swans supporter, lover of all sport, and spends his spare time completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Plus, he’s available to support MLSA Members whenever needed.
