What is the CITF levy? 
Do you need to pay it?  What do you get in return?  

The Construction Industry Training Fund (CITF) levy is collected on building and construction activity in South Australia, including landscaping, and is used to provide the industry with more affordable training and skills development.

As such, you are required to pay the CITF levy of 0.25% on building and construction activity over $40,000 (inc. GST).  But when do you need to pay it?  How do you pay it?  And, what do you get in return?
