Please note the following recent change to the Gardening & Landscaping Services Award 2010 may affect your business.

Casual employees employed for a consistent pattern of hours on an ongoing basis over a period of 12 months or more may request that their employment be changed to full-time or part-time.

In the event that a request to convert from casual to full- or part-time employment be made, an employer has the right to refuse their employee’s request, but only on reasonable grounds and after consultation with the employee.
